to be born wearing ductape

My newest canvas.
Acrylics and about 2 months of sitting on the floor painting this sucker.
I was very happy painting with oranges but I cried alot while I was painting it.... ( it makes me feel like a sissy for being happy and simultaneously & randomly crying ... I think it might have been because I was subconsciously mimicking the faces in the helmets?)

METROCON- I"M BACK!!!!! :D

OMG METROCON WAS AWESOME and much of the ++:heart:
I took quite a few photos- so I'm sharing (please go and check them out) 8D This was the biggest anime-con in FLORIDA

Day 1 (Friday):
:iconcheckmarkplz:Ran to the convention all dressed as TEAM ROCKET (will find/post those pics later)
:iconcheckmarkplz:Stood in line for 1.5 hrs. ^^; & The plus side of this was that we poned so many Poke'mon!!!! 8D
:iconcheckmarkplz:Saw Demyx Time the panel(it was a Q&A based on Kingdom Hearts and Kelly+Jen's youtube-cast Demyx Time)~ which consisted of questions I'd rather not list but I'll post a link to their AWESOME youtube videos at the bottom (I promise ;D)
:iconcheckmarkplz: Took ballroom dance class with Link, Itachi, a cyber goth, a team rocket elite member, and a girl named Anna who was really very very nice and learned the waltz and 'da Cha-Cha.
:iconcheckmarkplz:Went to Club Metro until ... 3:30am ^^; ~ and accidentally inhaled fake fog and agrivated my scarred lung tissue. XP

Day 2 (Saturday):
:iconcheckmarkplz:Got up missed breakfast (so we lived off of those nasty rubbery hotdogs from the carts- ewwwwwww). Went NUTS taking photos. :blush:
:iconcheckmarkplz:Attended Demyx Time Panel 2. Attended Sailor Myu at the request of :iconshintaru:. It was admittedly an attempt to cater to my inner fan >_>;.... it was so spirited and they had such beautiful voices and hand-sewn costumes + stage presence that technical difficulties such as the sound system were easily over looked.
:iconcheckmarkplz:SAW ABNEY PARK LIVE!!!! (insert fangasm here and I'll post a link below)
:iconcheckmarkplz:ALSO WE ALL WENT TO THE THE BLACK OUT RAVE hosted by DJ Shadowfax and my friends knew him which was epic so we all talked to him and his wife and both of them are very nice people- I even got a hug :D And another group called One-Eyed-Doll (kinda a lolita meets crazy death roar) took the stage temporarily and was also very good! But the poor girl got chanted off stage by jerks who were eager to get on with the rave music >_>; they just wanted blood and she took it personally...

:iconcheckmarkplz: Raided the dealers room and found a great deal on a Obi and Yukata and ran into a old friend.

:iconcheckmarkplz:Got Kelly's autograph!!!!!! :excited: and a hug :D and her British germs (which is why I'm sick now) :faint: but I couldn't find Jenn :iconsadfaceplz:

it's ok~ newer computers have a lot of weird features available like shift lock (for those with missing appendages) and anti-cat locking systems that prevent your kitty from sending off email by strutting around on your keyboard while you're away! every so often you run across one... it happens :D

^^; It wasn't my fault!!!
I had to wear tights for formalities sake because the theme was 'Venice' (like Renaissance Italy o_o; ) basically everyone did but it really confused some people because they couldn't tell if I was a dude or a chick. My official picture they had of me posted was in a dress shirt but I wore those tights to the reception and forgot to put some underwear under them as they were a bit thin... a little too late but 'opps?'
I wish it had been my sale but knowing the $ got donated to the Education Foundation is pretty good too.
